The Office of Sustainability & Climate Action maintains a Facebook page, where we promote events on campus and in NYC, as well as share news and resources surrounding sustainability. https://www.facebook.com/BarnardSustainability/

We also circulate an e-newsletter, published 2 times per semester, which provides updates on sustainable initiatives and information on events.

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

Across campus, we have consistent signage that informs students how to sort their waste properly. Each sign, Landfill, Single-stream Recycling, Organics, and Special, uses images of the items that can be disposed of in each bins. Each sign directs the community to reach out to the office of sustainability if they have any questions.

We also have signs across campus with a map of all the locations with water-bottle filling stations.

We provide first-year students with a Sustainability Guide, with information on courses and student groups relating to sustainability, as well as recommendations for living sustainably in the dorms (sorting waste properly, buying used, limiting water consumption).
