It is the incumbent upon our community to lead through sustainable behaviors that help end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. Employees are encouraged to participate in in-person sustainability training offered monthly during lunch, and to use the resources found here. To request a training appointment, please contact us at reduce@bard.edu. The Bard MBA in Sustainability program hosts regular programming including the Sustainable Business Series, Monthly Conversation Series in New York City that bring together sustainable business experts for evening conversations. https://www.bard.edu/mba/publicprograms/

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :

The college will reimburse travel and registration costs for relevant conferences. Members of the Bard Office of Sustainability and attend regular conferences such as the AASHE conference, the annual Green Building Conference and LEED credit maintenance. Members of faculty and staff are invited to attend opportunities with sponsored funding through the Green Fund.
