Does the institution have a policy, plan, and/or strategies to reduce stormwater runoff from new development projects? :
Yes

Does the institution have a policy, plan, and/or strategies to reduce stormwater runoff from ongoing campus operations? :
Yes

A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:

For New Development Projects: Morris and Associates have been our Civil Engineers for years. Any project that we develop is passed through their offices and reviewed by them. They develop the stormwater runoff plan according to federal and state regulations. The plan is then reviewed through the local governments to make sure that all the criteria has been met, before any permits are issued.

For Ongoing Campus Operations: the college has three strategies it employs for on going operations. At the direction of the Assistant Director of Grounds, Randy Clum, who has taken a Certified Professional course in Erosion and Sediment Control, porous paving and vegetated and stone swales are used. Additionally, the college is working with a graduate student from the Center for Environmental Policy, who is preparing a stormwater plan for the college for her master's thesis to be completed Spring 2012.
