A brief description of the institution's Tree Campus USA program:
Tree Campus USA Project #1: Hazardous Tree Evaluation
2010: The goal of this project is to continue to evaluate hazardous trees on campus, at least 25 more trees by 2011. The target is to continue data entry of these and newly evaluated trees into the BG BASE software system. Project #2: Campus-wide Ornamental Vegetation Inventory
2010: The goal of this project is to continue to inventory campus trees, shrubs and perennials by the summer 2010 arboretum intern. S/he will continue where the 2009 intern left off. The target is to complete the inventory of campus vegetation in another section of campus by August 2010 and to enter all campus plant inventories into BG BASE software by December 2010.
