The Counseling Center’s mission is to promote personal growth, development, and psychological well-being while maintaining a strong commitment to diversity and social justice. Integral to achieving our mission are mental health services, outreach/consultation, and training of future professionals.
We also offer a wide variety of small thematic and therapy groups, as well as workshops. If it's determined that one of these services will best meet your needs, it will be recommended.
Working together, we at Ball State University will create a campus culture that encourages employees, retirees, and their families to lead healthy lifestyles while optimizing health care resources.
Ball State wants to help employees cope with these challenges by providing free counseling sessions, self-help tools, online articles and other resources for you and your family members through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Confidential services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at no cost to you or your family
Working Well provides employees with tools to empower them to proactively manage their health. We offer a variety of programs and incentives to identify and act on existing health conditions or maintain an active healthy lifestyle. Providing a culture of health and well-being contributes to employees thriving in their jobs and in the classroom, along with our community. We focus on collaborative partnerships to help employees and their families achieve their health goals.
