The College of Health facility has a dashboard display in the entry lobby that monitors/tracks the performance of its rooftop photovoltaic electrical generation and the electrical demand of its occupants. The Ball State Arboretum urges visitors to explore our 780 acre campus, which contains hundreds of species of trees. Five tree trails have been designed and can be enjoyed by educators, students and community members. The Ball State Arboretum has been accredited at Level II through ArbNet; a global network for tree-focused arboreta. An interactive map and printable walking tour brochures for examining the vegetative cover of the campus are available on line.

The university provides a green guide for residence hall move in by students and a more general green living guide for the campus--a Green Campus Guide and a Sustainability Guide. These provide advice on practices and principles of sustainability living and information graphics on significant campus wide sustainability achievements. More for information,

The posting of news items, meeting agendas and minutes of the monthly gathering of the university-wide Council on the Environment (COTE) covers the items of celebration, facilitation, and anticipation endemic to the continuing evolution of sustainability practices at Ball State University.
