A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

Cardinal Kitchen is Ball State University's campus food pantry. The pantry is located in the Multicultural Center and is available for use to all undergraduate and graduate students.

It's goal is to mitigate food insecurity, which is faced by students locally and across the nation.

Cardinal Kitchen is supported by an annual investment of about $5,000 in student fees. The pantry also relies on donations from campus organizations and individuals. Others may make donations.

Cardinal Kitchen neither limits visits nor sets a threshold of need and averages 586 clients and 1285 visits within the past three years.
