This credit was marked as Not Pursuing so Reporting Fields will not be displayed.

The university employes an Environmental Specialist who is responsible for all hazardous waste handling and disposal. This person monitors the types and volumes of wastes and looks for opportunities for reuse. If an opportunity arises, this person will contact other potential users on campus to inquire about possible reuse. Ball State is not a highly active science research facility and therefore, the volume of wastes generated and the opportunities to reuse wastes are very limited. No effort is made to find external users for hazardous wastes due to chain of custody concerns and documentation requirements that can become onerous for small generators.
