A brief description of the plan:

As part of the campus master plan Ball State construction projects follow the guidelines as noted under LEED Design and Construction Standards for Sustainable Sites, Credit 4.2 "Alternative Transportation-Bicycle Storage and Changing Room", which bicycle storage racks are installed on all new and renovation projects. On new residence hall projects indoor bike storage rooms are installed. The university is in the process of applying for the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) bike-friendly campus designation.
