A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
Baldwin Wallace University maintains a list of all majors at: https://www.bw.edu/academics/undergraduate/. Each major is hyperlinked on that webpage which provides biographical information on all full-time faculty employed by the university. For purposes of this university research inventory, every faculty biography was reviewed. If a faculty member was listed as having research interests that staisfied the STARS 2.1 Technical Manual's definition, that individual was included in the report. In cases of uncertainty, the faculty member was directly contacted by Dr. Franklin Lebo with a request for a statement of research either ongoing or conducted within the last 3 academic years. Additionally, a Google Scholar search was also performed where applicable to confirm recent scholarly activity both for faculty pursuing sustainability related research and for faculty engaged in research unrelated to sustainability. Note that as per the Course Inventory conducted for AC-1 supra, faculty in the performance arts were not included in this Research Inventory.
