Babson’s Paid Parental Time Off Policy is designed to assist and support all new parents with balancing work and family matters. Paid Parental Time Off provides six weeks of pay at 100%. It is available to benefits- eligible employees who are a natural parent, spouse, spousal equivalent, adoptive, or foster parent. Parental Time Off must be taken during the first 12 months following the birth, adoption, or start of foster care. It may also be taken intermittently in increments of no less than one week.  Birth mothers are eligible for additional time off to be determined on a period of disability.
