Yes

The Principals for Responsible Investment (PRI)1 defines responsible investment as an active strategy and practice to incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions and active ownership. We also believe that diverse teams produce better outcomes for organizations and investment strategies. Therefore, we believe investing in a way that integrates ESG and DEI values will lead to enhanced returns and reduced risk. The Investment Committee will use Babson’s resources to promote these values within the asset management industry by encouraging its partners to incorporate ESG and DEI principals into their investment decision making process and, in the management and operations their firms. The Investment Committee strives to align with firms that share our values. ESG policies and diverse teams can and have had a positive material impact on the management and operations of investment firms. Moving forward, the Investment Committee will encourage our existing partners to develop their own approaches to ESG strategies and DEI practices and we will consider ESG and DEI in the selection process for future investment partners
