Narrative outlining how student participation in civic engagement programs was determined:

To measure the impact of our outreach, we leverage Workday and our internal tracking self-reporting system through Canvas. These platforms enable us to gather and analyze comprehensive data on the campus community’s participation and engagement with our various programs. Through this data collection, we can assess the effectiveness of our efforts. We gain valuable insights into how students, staff and faculty interact with our community service and sustainability activities. This information helps us continually refine our strategies; however, it also allows us to enhance the overall success of our initiatives. Although we face challenges, we remain committed because we recognize the importance of these assessments. Thus, our ongoing analysis is crucial for improvement.

Student programs that our formally tracked with Workday and Canavs is our Community Action program and our First Year required Service Learning Course Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship.

Other student areas that engage in civic engagement included: several Student Clubs and Organizations, Greek Life and several Athletic Teams. These areas are not tracked by a formal process and is just a requirement of organization thus the conservative estimate.
