Lab space is equal to one half of the area of Kriebel Hall (total 11,240 square feet), which has classrooms and offices on the upper level and lab space on the lower level.
Estimated other energy-intensive spaces include (1) Trim Hall with mainly a dining hall, kitchen, and catering (reporting 1/3 of the building's total 42,190 square feet), (2) Reynolds Campus Center that houses Dunkin Donuts and Reynolds Cafe, (reporting 1/3 of the buildings total 45,276 square feet).
In this submission, Babson avoids overcounting of energy-intensive spaces on campus by not including the Horn Library Cafe, Olin Cafe, the Executive Conference Center with large kitchen spaces.
The total campus square footage does not include the Boston Sports Club.
