A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to staff:
On every Community Learning Day, the Sustainability Office conducts presentations to faculty and staff about sustainability and has focused on training sessions covering topics such as how to compost at home, tools for living a sustainable life, and participating in the campus' community garden. Additionally, the day also has several topics around diversity and inclusion, such as educational sessions to inform employees about trans* culture, etc. The Sustainability Office does several presentations and training sessions for individual offices about sustainability at Babson.

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):
The Sustainability Office has supported staff traveling to the AASHE conference, where they were able to attend sessions directly related to their work on campus. For example: 2013: Steve Tolley, Facilities 2016: Kathy Esper (Academic support), Tracey Reza (Undergraduate Dean's Office), Vikki Rodgers (faculty)
