A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years (e.g. descriptions of new courses or course content resulting from the program):
The Sustainability Office has sent five faculty members from the Math & Science, Technology, Operations, and Information Management; Marketing, Economics, Accounting & Law to professional development workshops on sustainability in the curriculum during Summer 2017. These faculty members are helping to plan an on-campus workshop for the broader faculty.
The Sustainability Office, in partnership with the Center for Engaged Learning and Teaching, also has offered faculty incentives for creating sustainability courses. Priority is given to curriculum in divisions that currently lack sustainability courses.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Babson College paid for all travel, lodging, meals, and registration for the faculty that attended the workshops.
Faculty that applied for course development support received financial incentives.
