Student sustainability research incentives 

Does the institution have an ongoing program to encourage students in multiple disciplines or academic programs to conduct sustainability research?:
Yes

A brief description of the student sustainability research program:
Austin Peay collects a $10 sustainable campus fee from each student every semester. Students and faculty from any discipline can request funding from this program to support projects, feasibility studies or research with significant student involvement. Requests for funding are then vetted by the Sustainable Campus Fee Committee.
Participation in this program is encouraged by our annual Great Green Idea contest. Students submit project ideas to increase campus sustainability and the top three ideas win cash prizes. Students are then offered the opportunity to present their projects to the Sustainable Campus Fee Committee to request funding to implement their idea.
