A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

APSU's main campus, the Clarksville Campus, is an urban campus located 50 miles northwest of Tennessee's fifth largest city and state capitol, Nashville. There are 190 acres with 94 buildings, of which 32 are dormitories.

ASPU also offers classes at the Fort Campbell campus. This campus does not house students however it is made up of 2 buildings, of which one building is used for educational and administrative purposes.

Located within the city of Clarksville, the Farm and Environmental Education Center is composed of 440 acres of land that affords a bounty of environmental habitats and supplies immeasurable support to academic programs at Austin Peay, as well as to the community and state.
The Farm is approximately 50 percent in natural cover and forest with the other half serving as a demonstration area and for the production of farm commodities. Located near the main campus, the Farm is a haven for wildlife. The area is bounded on the west by the West Fork of Red River and harbors a natural cave in which there are fish that have evolved without eyes. In addition to wildlife, cattle raised on the Farm provide hands-on experience for agriculture students.
