A brief description of the institution’s employee community service initiatives:
The University provides volunteer opportunities on campus for employees through days of service 3 times of year. These have included meal packaging events, gardening on campus, and participating in the Arbor Day TN tree planting day event. Employees are encouraged to participate, to wear appropriate clothes to work for volunteering, and the availability to be out of the office to participate in the service opportunities.
