The institution's Sustainability Coordinator is a member of three community organizations dedicated to advancing sustainability: Sustainability (planning) Task Force, Sustainability Advisory Committee (general advisory), Clarksville/Montgomery County Green Certification Program Steering Committee. The APSU Coordinator has taken a leadership role in producing the 2017 Sustainability Report, planning the 2016 Green Certification annual green businesses banquet, and participating in city council meetings. The Coordinator co-planned a 2017 event with the Task Force, occurring on APSU campus.
