Pharos Printing Management Campaign

A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
The introduction of Pharos included three articles in The All State, the student newspaper and a town hall meeting attended by the full Pharos committee of thirteen members and twenty-one students. As an educational tool, the IT Help Desk features a page on Pharos, including a FAQ page and environmental impact section.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
During the first semester of Pharos implementation the following environmental impacts were calculated, indicating the success of Pharos and its acceptance by students: 23 tons of paper were saved 467,187 gallons of water were saved in thepaper-making process 52,394 pounds of solid waste was conserved 552 trees were saved Greenhouse gas reduction: 130,870 pounds 256,082 kWh of energy was conserved, enough to power the average household for 19 years, 2 months
