A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :

There are three courses that have an identifiable sustainability component. Two of these courses are dedicated sustainability courses (AGRI 3040, GEOG 3040) and one other (SOC 3250: Social Institutions: Environment and Society) has sustainability included within the course. APSU does offer courses that may touch on sustainability, but there is considerable variation in content dependent upon the instructor which may not be consistent across semesters. Only courses that could provide definitive and consistent evidence of sustainability within the curriculum were included in this report.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
