Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
No written policies, plans or guidelines, but green infrastructure and LID practices are used

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
Both our science building (the IDEA Center) and McCarley Pavilion (located at our Sneed Prairie property) use rainwater catchment systems. The IDEA Center rainwater tank is used to irrigate the native plants that surround the IDEA Center, while the McCarley Pavilion tank is partially used for irrigation and toilet water, and partially used for drinking water and sink water (after it has been put through a filtration/purification system that is tested by the city every year). The McCarley Pavilion rainwater is also used for prescribed fires.
