A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
The coordinator for the Center for Environmental Studies (CES) used a faculty research survey and consultation with the director of the CES to create the inventory. We did not include any staff in the tally of people involved in research, though a few staff members do occasionally assist with various aspects of research projects.
