The Austin College Student Assembly is the representative body of the students of Austin College. Student Assembly is the chief student governmental organization that actively advocates for students in campus issues and genuinely seeks to affect positive change by encouraging communication and involvement.

Yes

Do the institution’s non-supervisory staff members have an elected representative on the institution’s highest governing body?:

Austin College Staff Council has effectively served the Austin College community since 1989 by organizing events of interest to staff, and assuring that the staff of the institution have a voice in addressing concerns related to campus employment.

Yes

Faculty are involved in college governance through multiple mechanisms. Faculty set the curriculum, faculty determine academic policy, the Faculty Executive Committee serves as a liason between the faculty and the senior staff and Board of Trustees, meeting regularly with both.
