1st Campaign
AC Unplugged
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
AC Unplugged is an annual energy saving competition held between the traditional residence halls (and as of two years ago, also featuring some upperclassmen cottages) every October. The Think student group holdings tabling events and other outreach campaigns all month long to encourage decreased energy usage, and results are posted every week.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Each year, we compare energy usage among the residence halls during month of October (the month of the campaign) to the energy use during the month of September. Almost invariably, each residence hall reduces their energy use during the month of October.

GreenServe
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged (2nd campaign):
GreenServe is our annual sustainability-focused community service event that is held on the Saturday nearest Earth Day. All students are encouraged to participate. The week immediately preceding the service day is GreenWeek, and each day has a sustainability-oriented theme. Tabling events near the cafeteria take place all week as a way to distribute information and encourage GreenServe sign-ups. The community service work includes work on campus and at other college-owned sites as well as work at organizations in the wider community.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
GreenServe has resulted in a wide variety of positive impacts with measurable results. A notable recent achievement that serves as an excellent example was the planting of a large number of native plants around the IDEA Center, which resulted in reduced water usage for landscaping.
