Yes

A brief description of other programs or initiatives to encourage more sustainable modes of transportation and/or reduce the impact of student and employee commuting:

A number of departments on campus offer incentives to promote the use of sustainable transportation modes. For instance, Parking Services provides parking permits at a reduced rate for those who carpool. Campus Safety & Security has offered a number of prize opportunities through events related to the yearly Travel with Care safety campaign, including bicycle safety gear, and the Office of Sustainability offers a bicycle as the main door prize at its annual Sustainability Picnic. Parking Services has implemented a wayfinding app for determining where parking spaces are available on the Auburn University campus. The app, War Eagle Parking, is available for either Android or iPhone devices and provides up-to-date information on space availability in lots on campus based on the type of zone the user is entitled to park in. The app can also provide accessible parking information and information for visitors/guests coming to campus.
