The purchases included in the inventory process were from August 2019 through July 2020. The on-campus dining services provider, Aramark, completed the report using FarmLogix, which is their standard food purchasing software reporting tool.

Auburn University has a dedicated and sustained effort to purchase food and beverages that embody sustainability attributes, and the contract with the food service provider requires food purchases from Alabama producers, Auburn's College of Agriculture, and a focus on certified foods.
