A brief description of any internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities that the institution makes available to non-academic staff:
The university has an employee resource page with professional development opportunities related to sustainability. The page compiles the online courses available through Linked In Learning, the university's professional development and training portal, where employees log in to find numerous course options. The page also summarizes Auburn's sustainability-related memberships and outlines the professional development resources and opportunities found throughout each.

Auburn has sustainability-related topics as Universal Performance Dimensions, which are performance evaluation measures common to all employees and included in performance plans. Some Universal Performance Dimensions include: teamwork, stakeholder focus, diversity and equity commitment, balanced decision-making, strategic focus, uncommon integrity, ability to conceptualize, adaptability, builds partnerships, communicates effectively, creativity and innovation, critical thinking, facilitates change, interpersonal versatility, manages conflict, people focus, plans and organizes, quality focus, technical and professional knowledge.

The attached file describes the 20 courses that are offered internally that have to do with sustainability.20 out of 137 courses were related to sustainability during the reporting time.

The university supports employees in attending sustainability-related conferences and training workshops through reimbursement of registration and travel expenses. A list of upcoming sustainability-related conferences is maintained on the Professional Development, Sustainability, & You page: http://sustain.auburn.edu/learn/workingau/

In addition, the Office of Sustainability is developing and piloted a sponsorship program for employees to attend sustainability-related conferences and trainings.
