The university's Design & Construction standards require all contractors submit a Construction & Demolition Waste Management Plan, which includes: analysis of proposed job site waste to be generated; a list of each material proposed to be salvaged, reused, or recycled; a list of proposed recycling facilities to be used; outline of proposed waste management meetings; material handling procedures; a communication plan; and the submission of all waste removal times, locations, & weights.
