A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

Sustainability is included in welcome packets for new employees in the form of brochures and pamphlets on various resources across campus. Information on sustainable practices related to public transportation, purchasing, paper use, energy management, waste and recycling, water conservation, employee engagement, and personal wellbeing is provided. In addition, faculty and graduate students have a training session where they meet representatives from the offices and programs that support sustainability at Auburn University. Included in orientation materials is a link to the Office of Sustainability’s website where an entire page is dedicated to 'Working at AU'. The page includes sustainability guides which connect employees to sustainable transportation options, a green event guide, and other resources.
