The Office of Procurement and Payment Services works with Auburn University’s Preferred Vendors to ensure their product offerings include social and environmentally responsible products. Where applicable, the vendors are dedicating space to these products on their Auburn University-specific website. The University has also started adding to some of its requests-for-proposals sustainability criteria for the purpose of bid evaluation. However, there is no official policy driving these practices.
