"Home Inspection Training Course: AHITs online professional home inspection training course, hosted by the Chimney Safety Institute of America, offers a home inspection training program. This home inspection training and marketing support program enables attendees to either start and operate their own successful home inspection businesses or to be a significant contributor in an established company. Solar Photovoltaics in Tuskegee: This course introduces persons to solar powered electricity (Photovoltaics - how light creates electricity). Upon completion of training students are eligible to take the Entry Level Exam (NABCEP) which certifies their understanding of the entry level learning objectives. This course is required in order to become a NABCEP Certified installer after the proper credentials are obtained through additional field experience and advanced training.

Solar Sales and Business Operations: This two day course is for Architects, Engineers and Electrical inspectors who must ensure that systems are installed and function as designed as well as are safe for others. This course covers the basics of solar pathways, correct mounting and placement of solar panels, codes that must be observed when installing and commissioning grid tied solar photovoltaic systems and other regulatory authorities and stakeholder's requirements. The course is designed for professionals with a solid working knowledge of electrical systems as well as some knowledge of photovoltaic systems (solar panels). Students learn about wiring methods, codes and required markings for PV Systems. The course focuses on compliance with the National Electrical Code, National Fire Protection/Fire Codes, IEEE, UL, Solar Codes, etc., in order to ensure proper installation and output of power from panels. It also covers programs for calculating/sizing systems and financial incentives and programs. This course is for designers and commissioners/inspectors of solar photovoltaic systems.

Building Construction Camp: This camp is a starting point for teens considering a career in building science or architecture. Participants learn construction basics and how to integrate building design with site, climate, function, and green considerations. There are hands-on projects supervised by Building Science faculty from Auburn's College of Architecture, Design, and Construction.

2015 Alabama Chapter of Soil and Water Conservation Service Annual Conference: Creating a Clean Water Future: Creating a Clean Water Future through Water and Soil Conservation was the theme of the 2015 Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Societys annual meeting, which explored how water and soil conservation contributes to clean water and healthy watersheds.

NCCC212 Annual Meeting: Small fruit and viticulture researchers throughout the nation reported on their progress, and problems affecting crops during the recently past season.

A brief description of the certificate program:

Hunger Awareness Certificate: In an online, independent study format, students examine hunger as a complex issue of sustainable human development. Topics include causes and consequences of U.S. and global hunger, as well as current responses and potential solutions. This course helps students develop a skill set for global citizenship that includes opportunities for advocacy, leadership, and critical problem solving. Students also learn to apply critical thinking skills in addressing hunger as a multidisciplinary, complex social issue. The certificate includes six units of study and a 15-20-question assessment per unit. Students receive a Hunger Awareness Certificate from Auburn University - Office of Professional and Continuing Education, upon completion of all six units and assessments with a minimum score of 70%
