A brief description of the assessment(s):

The Knight Settlement Report is published annually on the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA) website. This report provides institutional data on enrollment distribution, degrees awarded, faculty and administrator distributions and positions filled, and institutional progress. The most recent report was posted on February 1, 2012.

College/School Strategic Diversity Plans were developed in 2009 by each of Auburn University’s twelve colleges and schools and the University Libraries. Progress reports are submitted by each college and school annually to report on progress made toward the Strategic Diversity Plan goals and objectives. https://fp.auburn.edu/diversity/Files/attachment.ashx.pdf.

Recent diversity culture surveys conducted at Auburn University include the Childcare Survey (2006), ADVANCE Climate Survey (2007), and a Staff Needs Assessment Survey (2010). Analysts have merged the results from three surveys into a single report, and Human Resources and ODMA are now using the merged report to propose and recommend new initiatives.
