A brief description of the program:
Auburn University departments are required to transfer to Surplus Property all equipment that is no longer useful and or no longer needed. Surplus Property inspects this equipment and determines if there is any useful service life remaining. The surplus equipment that is still useful is made available to all AU departments for a small transfer fee. The surplus equipment is listed on the Surplus Property website and can be inspected during business hours. The surplus equipment can also be transferred to the Alabama Public Schools system and Alabama state funded organizations.
