AU Waste Reduction and Recycling Department (WRRD) has a contract with a local construction/demolition (C/D) Landfill company (Sand Hill Recycling – D&J Enterprises, Inc.) who recycles/reuses up to 85% of the C/D Waste that is delivered to them. AU employees as well as contracted solid waste haulers transport C/D materials to Sand Hill Recycling.
