AU Waste Reduction and Recycling Department (WRRD) has several recycling programs and special events throughout the year which all contribute to our waste diversion:
-Campus Building Recycling Program
-Residential Hall Recycling Program
-Move-in cardboard recycling (2011 over 20 tons cardboard recycled)
-Move-out donation program
-Dining Hall Recycling Program
-Game Day Recycling Program
-Ink & toner cartridge recycling
-Binder Giveaway (free binders removed from paper recycling bins are redistributed at the beginning of each fall semester. In 2011, 500 reclaimed binders were given to students on the Haley Concourse.
