The charter or mission statement of the CIR or other body which reflects social and environmental concerns or a brief description of how the CIR is tasked to address social and environmental concerns:

ASU Enterprise Partners (parent company of the ASU Foundation) created a Sub-Committee of the Investment Committee specifically to address the issues of sustainability and social responsibility as it relates to the Foundation's Investments. This SRI Council provides insight, support, guidance, and knowledge toward the goal and objectives of prudent alignment of the Foundation’s investment strategies with the mission of ASU. Sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investing can advance globally-recognized sustainability goals while still accomplishing our financial objectives in support of the University.

Specifically, the Advisory Council provides recommendations on the sustainability strategy and priorities, accountability for progress on a Net Zero roadmap and JEDI goals as well as elevating related topics in academia, business, and politics.

The SRI Council includes the Investment Committee Chair, Investment Committee Vice-Chair, ASU faculty from the WP Carey School of Business and Julie Ann Wrigley School of Sustainability, an ASU student, internal staff, and other representatives from the ASU community as needed.
