The Sustainability Opportunity
The Sustainability Opportunity is a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Strategy program offered through the Executive & Professional Education unit at the School of Sustainability and W.P. Carey School of Business. in March 2019.
The Sustainability Opportunity is an intensive certificate seminar that combined W.P. Carey School of Business with the School of Sustainability. This dynamic online accelerated program is designed for mid-career professionals who want to build a sustainability network and create a decided advantage in the marketplace by reorienting their professional and organizational abilities toward sustainability and resiliency, with a focus on leveraging the opportunities presented by both. The program focuses on how to effectively communicate about ESG and sustainability initiatives, build a strong business case, be more strategic, and understand how the broader global context translates to organizational practice.

Sustainability Analyst Fundamentals Specialization
The specialization, designed for anyone with a high school diploma or greater, introduces common sustainability roles, assesses sustainability challenges that face the planet and employers, and equips learners with the foundational skills needed to address these challenges. Learners who complete the specialization will receive a shareable certificate and be able to make an impact on their organizations with sustainability skills related to goal-setting, reporting and data analysis.

Principles of ESG and Sustainability for Business
Consisting of eight courses, this certificate provide the building blocks of ESG knowledge, to prepare learners to make ESG-aware business decisions. Upon completion of the program, learners will be ready to lead in a range of industries, including manufacturing and construction, agriculture and food, retail and real estate, the service industries, information technology services, health care and human services, and even the government sector.
