Sun Devil Athletics has implemented several sustainability programs including:
- Zero Waste for all ticketed sporting events
- LEED Certification in the renovation of Sun Devil Stadium and the Weatherup Center (LEED Gold)
- Green Sports Certification program for varsity and intramural sports
- ASU coordinates with the City of Tempe and Valley Metro to facilitate transit access and encourage fans to use public transit, especially the light rail + park and ride.
- Fan engagement efforts including "Green Games"
