Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes

A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

ASU has several initiatives to address food insecurity among students:

- Pitchfork Pantry is a student-run pantry for students in need. More information: https://asunow.asu.edu/20170127-solutions-asu-food-pantry-provides-students-need and https://www.facebook.com/asupitchforkpantry/

- ASU hosts periodic Borderlands Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste food markets on campus, in which vegetables from refrigerated food warehouses at the Arizona-Mexico border are brought to or near campus for anyone to buy. The markets offer 70 pounds of vegetables for only $12. Vouchers are available to ASU students and staff that are experiencing food insecurity and may be redeemed for no-cost produce boxes.

- ASU periodically hosts the Farm Express bus. Produce is sold at cost to keep it affordable and accepts cash, credit, and SNAP benefits. Thanks to Double Up Food Bucks, our SNAP customers receive a two-for-one incentive on fresh produce. More information: https://www.farmexpress.org/

- Garden Commons offers a space to grow local organic food, engage with peers and enjoy nature. Plots are leased to the campus community for individual gardening opportunities and shared plots are utilized for community food bank donations.
