ASU offers several forms of internal sustainability professional development and training opportunities:
- Annual Commission on the Status of Women/Staff Council Professional Development Conference, which includes workshops on sustainability;
- Online sustainability literacy training that is open to all staff members;
- University Sustainability Practices, Zero Waste, Aramark, & The College of Health Solutions offer Staff Event Planner Sustainability Certification Training
- University Sustainability Practices and Zero Waste department also offer customized presentations to individual departments upon request covering a variety of sustainability topics.
- LinkedIn Learning courses on sustainability topics ranging from green building to diversity and inclusion

Additionally, the Committee for Campus Inclusion holds an annual conference, free and open, to all faculty, students, and staff.
