Does the institution have sustainability-themed housing (residential floor or hall, or theme house) where residents learn about sustainability together and to which residents must apply?:
Yes

A brief description of the themed housing:

Sustainability House at Barrett (SHAB) is a community of friends who live in a sustainably built, LEED Silver-certified building on Arizona State University's honors college campus. SHAB values sustainable living practices and promotes an environmentally and socially responsible lifestyle.

SHAB says, "We want to be the change we wish to see in the world. To fulfill that, we live in SHAB and promote sustainable living. We have recycled furniture and a wood-free building. We have limits on our climate control to save energy. We have laundry lines so we don't have to use dryers. We have a green roof with an organic, student-run garden. We have our own composting system. We have co-mingled recycling for easy access. We have a well-insulated building that's warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We have a central open-air courtyard and walkways so we don't have to heat and cool hallways and lounges. We have a gray water system that uses the water from our showers and sinks for landscaping. We have a great sustainable building filled with fantastic sustainable people."
