Student -
Wellness initiatives are supported by the institution and housed under Counseling, Health, and Wellness. There is a budget assigned to be used in Wellness programming that includes areas of physical,emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, and intellectual (financial). This is achieved in a collaborative approach with other Student Affairs Division members, Metro Health medical services, athletics and academic affairs. In addition, free counseling sessions are available to all registered students throughout the academic year with our Career and Counseling Services Department.
Staff/Faculty-
Wellness Initiatives are supported by the institution and housed under Integrative Campus Health. There is a budget assigned to be used in Wellness programming. In addition, there is a partnership with a Corporate Wellness team that works to help define and promote this model. Onsite physical and intellectual programming is offered to all employees and their designated eligible dependent. This is achieved in a collaborative approach with Athletics and Dining Services. In addition, the College offers additional mental health services with the Employee Assistance Center and other wellness services with our insurance carrier, Priority Health. Other community resources are promoted as they come available with institutions such as Trinity Health.
