The Past, Present, and Future of Sustainability: Appalachian State has a long history of supporting sustainability at every level. We are a national leader, but still have a lot of work to do. This workshop is a survey of our past successes, current commitments, and future vision related to sustainability in campus operations, academics, research, and student engagement. Sustain Yosef: Are you trying to find a way to encourage and promote sustainability in the workplace? Appalachian State University strives to continue to expand our sustainability education by offering faculty and staff the opportunity to become more sustainable in the workplace. Come join us to learn more about this certification program and ways to implement it in your office suite.
So what is Sustain Yosef Green Workplace Certified? This certification is meant to be a tool to educate and develop habits that promote a more sustainable office environment. The program recognizes campus work spaces that have taken extra steps to ensure they are contributing to the sustainability goals of App State by greening their space, and lowering their daily impact.
