We have an active electronics recycling program through Synergy Recycling, a licensed electronics recycler.

A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

We currently coordinate with surplus property to ensure that the electronics not sold through surplus are collected and recycled properly. In addition, there is ongoing collection across campus for any and all electronics related materials.

A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

We have two collection locations for student-generated electronics on campus. The following electronic items are collected at these sites: print cartridges, cell phones, computer equipment, technotrash (CDs, DVDs, diskettes, film, etc.). There are also other special recycling items collected at these locations as well. If it is inconvenient to take these materials to the designated sites, these items can also be placed next to the nearest recycling site and we will pick them up for recycling as well.
