The committee provides an ongoing forum for discussing institutional practices related to sustainability, and fosters a culture of sustainable living through a diversity of education, research, operations, and community service activities.

The Committee consists of representatives from across the College, including faculty, co-op, staff, and students. Its meetings are open to all campus community members.
