The purpose of the Antioch College Campus Sustainability Committee is to generate, evaluate, and implement initiatives that relate to one or more dimensions of social, economic, and environmental sustainability. In keeping with the Antioch College Vision statement, the committee seeks to advance initiatives that further the pursuit of new and better ways of living through intentional linkages between classroom and experiential education. The committee provides an ongoing forum for discussing institutional practices related to sustainability, and fosters a culture of sustainable living through a diversity of education, research, operations, and community service activities.
The Committee consists of representatives from across the College, including faculty, co-op, staff, and students. Its meetings are open to all campus community members.
