A brief description of the methodology used to determine the total number of courses offered and to identify sustainability course offerings, including the definitions used and the process for reviewing and/or validating the course inventory :
The Antioch College Registrar and Curriculum Committee provided a spreadsheet containing all courses offered during the assessment period (Fall 14 - Summer 17), as well as access to folders containing all the syllabi for the courses offered during this time period. Conversations and emails with faculty who taught the courses also assisted in the clarification of the course type and level of qualification. In some cases courses have rotating topics, and during the terms when the topic of the course was sustainability-focused, those courses were included in this inventory. Cross-listed courses (listed in one or more departments) were only counted once. Antioch College is a very small enrollment college (N=133) and rarely offer multiple sections of courses.
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each offering or section of a course was counted as an individual course
