Does the institution have a formally established and active committee on investor responsibility (CIR) that makes recommendations to fund decision-makers on socially and environmentally responsible investment opportunities across asset classes?:

The charter or mission statement of the CIR or other body which reflects social and environmental concerns or a brief description of how the CIR is tasked to address social and environmental concerns:
There is an Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing, but it is not active. When the Committee was created, it was established as a student-run committee (which means students had ownership of the committee and its members) Despite us directing students with ESG concerns to try and reorganize the committee and use it as a student platform, there just hasn’t been any traction. As such, we have removed any reference to it from our Investment Office webpage. The committee was not intended to make any fund recommendations or exert any input into investment manager hire/fire manager decisions. When active, it consisted of three student members, two faculty members, two alumni and two staff members.
